We’re blooming with excitement for Floriade 2025 – Australia’s biggest celebration of spring!

The perfect event for the whole family, Floriade bursts into bloom at Canberra’s beautiful Commonwealth Park from Saturday 13 September to Sunday 12 October 2025 – and entry is FREE.

Now in its 38th year, Floriade 2025 embraces the inspiring theme “Science and Nature”, transforming the park into a vibrant space of discovery, learning, and stunning floral displays. Expect a dazzling fusion of colour and creativity as more than one million blooms create a breathtaking backdrop for interactive exhibits and family-friendly fun.

Across 30 days, visitors can enjoy garden beds inspired by the natural world and scientific discovery, alongside live performances, cultural celebrations, horticultural talks, bustling market stalls, hands-on workshops, delicious food and drink, and engaging experiences for all ages.

For four magical evenings, from Thursday 2 to Sunday 5 October, Floriade lights up after dark with NightFest, featuring spectacular illuminations, roving performers, live music, and a vibrant evening atmosphere.

NightFest runs from 6:30pm to 10:30pm each night, with tickets available online and onsite until 9:00pm, unless sold out.
